During the day, the sunlight that seeps through the glass windows gives natural lighting to the place. It has a very cozy ambiance. The tables have grains as center pieces which we liked and the trees and plants made the place even more relaxing to dine at. The place shows so much of clean and green living, now let us move to the EATS.

(crisp gluten-free lemon-ricotta waffle with coco-vanilla butter, raw honey and a choice of compote

Pancakes and waffles! Two of our breakfast favorites. Both were soft and fluffy and the waffles had sides that were crispy. The coco-vanilla butter, raw honey and strawberry compote tasted really fresh. It was our first time to have coco-vanilla butter and raw honey, and we loved it!

Crispy Duck Adobo
(crispy duck adobo flakes with garlic brown rice, pico de gallo and free-range egg)

It was also our first time to have crispy duck adobo flakes. We were used to pork adobo flakes, and this was surprisingly good. The sauce made it even better. The amount of saltiness was just right for our own taste. Perfect with the garlic brown rice, pico de gallo and eggs.

Wholesome Benedicts
(two English muffins, poached free-range eggs, breakfast side salad, and a choice of toppings)
Php 340 Kale and Ham / Php 460 Mushroom-Ricotta / Php 460 Salmon Asparagus
We had the mushroom-ricotta to complete our eggs benedict. The mushroom-ricotta was creamy and earthy. The English muffins were fluffy, and of course the runny yolk from the eggs bound every component perfectly.

Acai Bowl
(date-sweetened frozen acai smoothie, local organic berries, and choice of toppings)
Php 490 Amazon Bowl – homemade granola, Mt. Atok strawberries, and banana / Php 490 Brazilian Bowl – banana, homemade granola, almond butter drizzle, and desiccated coconut
Their Acai bowl was so refreshing. The tartness from the berries was just right. It had a good balance of sweet and sour flavors. The texture was silky smooth with crispness from the homemade granola. And the strawberries and bananas were a perfect pair.

Lunch Menu

Avocado Toast
(2 toasts per serving – sourdough toast, dijon mustard, free-range eggs, avocado, and dukkah spice)

This can be a good choice for those who want to have a light lunch. Light yet filling enough to satisfy your hunger. The avocado was a bit bitter, however, the eggs, spices and dijon mustard worked well in masking its bitterness.

Cordillera Salad
(kale, romaine, boiled duck egg, baked onions, carrots, Benguet gooseberry tomatoes, squash, candied chayote, Benguet pole beans, Sagad oranges tossed in Cordillera citrus vinaigrette)
Php 190 solo / Php 350 regular
This salad is so colorful and appetizing! Every ingredient tasted really fresh and each had different textures, which made it more enjoyable to eat. The Cordillera citrus vinaigrette gave sweet and citrus-y flavors.

Poke Bowl
(raw salmon, wakame, brown rice, Japanese mayo, stir-fry sauce, romaine, ebiko, furikake, togarashi spice, and pickled ginger)

This was one of our favorites among the other lunch dishes that we have tried. When the ingredients were mixed, it complemented each other really well. Symphony of flavors and textures! A must-try!

Mushroom Paella
(saffron arborio, button mushrooms, asparagus, artichokes, red onion, garlic, roasted pepper, and walnut chorizo)

Another favorite of ours! From the saffron arborio to the walnut chorizo, everything was tasty and flavorful. It was creamy but the roasted pepper balanced it out by giving a refreshing taste. This is a dish that can make us eat a lot without making us feel guilty.

Look at that selection of pastries! Looks good isn’t? It does not just look good but it is also delectable! We have tried the banana loaf, cookies, fudge brownie, chocolate hazelnut cupcake, strawberry shortcake cupcake and double chocolate muffin. One word to describe all these—scrumptious! Not too sweet, organic and gluten-free trEATS, how can we feel guilty?

That was one feast that we did not regret devouring into. Organic food never tasted this good. The food might be pricey but believe us, you will be getting your money’s worth. With the quality of ingredients that they use, how the dishes are executed, and how the dishes are plated and presented, The Wholesome Table surely gives their A-game when it comes to serving their diners.
