As huge fans of Korean Bbq, we deserve good banchan, awesome meat, and equally, amazing service, agree? In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about a Korean Bbq place in Manila that should be getting your attention. Why you may ask? Well, it’s probably home to some of the best Korean Bbq we’ve ever had. No joke. We sure hope you’re hungry because here comes our EATSperience of Unlimited Korean BBQ at Fantastic Chef Taft in Manila!

Not exactly located along Taft Avenue, instead, Fantastic Chef Taft is located along Leon Guinto Street which is parallel Taft Avenue and is just a stone’s throw away from St. Scholastica’s College, College of Saint Benilde, and De La Salle University-Manila. That’s why it still kind of counts as Taft, hehe!
As you may have already known from the title, Fantastic Chef is a Korean Bbq restaurant that specializes in UNLIMITED grilled pork, chicken, and beef with lots of different Korean sides or Banchan.
The place is huge! We loved that there is enough space between tables. It is just perfect for a fun and filling Korean Bbq meal. Good job, Fantastic Chef Taft!
Here’s the menu! As you can see, Php 499 for the UNLIMITED Pork and Chicken and plus Php 50 to include the UNLIMITED Beef. Of course, we went right the UNLIMITED Pork, Chicken, and Beef for a grand total of Php 549 per person. The package also includes all the banchan that they have, cheese dip, and that famous Korean Steamed Egg, again, all UNLIMITED. Pretty affordable, right?
Banchan! We usually skip the super spicy ones and just devour the ones that we love. In this case, the fish cake, macaroni salad, and salad were all awesome. We kept on asking for more, hehe!
Steamed Egg for the win! This one has become one of our favorites when it comes to Korean EATSperiences. That’s why we were so excited when they told us that this is included in the UNLIMITED package that they have. Fluffy and super savory steamed egg that is extremely tasty! Awesome stuff, Fantastic Chef Taft!
UNLIMITED Cheese Dip! Make sure to try it out, you will surely fall in love with it.
Our first plate of meat, the Beef Plate! This one was a beautiful plate of beef brisket if we’re not mistaken. It is also one of our favorites when we do Korean Bbq because it is so flavorful, meaty, and fatty yet super easy to cook.
Just leave it on the grill for a couple of minutes and you’re good! Look at how perfect that slice of beef is. Amazing!
This EATSperience won’t be complete without having a thick cut of Pork Belly! Look at those perfect layers of meat and fat. It is just so beautiful especially when it’s grilled properly. Super tender, just the right amount of fat, and its really juicy. Perfection all over!
Pork Jowl! This is like pork belly but way more sinful, hehe. Make sure to grill it until it’s crispy, just like the one in the photo above. The best cut of pork we have ever had and it’s the best one you will ever have!
Another unsung cut of meat, the Skirt Meat! This one’s really flavorful and surprisingly tender and easy to cook. The marinade was sweet and savory, really well seasoned!
It’s safe to say that we enjoyed our Fantastic Chef Taft EATSperience! The service was amazing. Their servers were pretty alert and attentive. The cuts of meat were top notch! Just look at the photos again and you will see. Every order of meat was easy to cook and pretty tasty. All in all, a great Korean Bbq EATSperience! We highly recommend Fantastic Chef Taft as your next must-try Korean Bbq place in Manila. You will surely love it!
