The Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator retains up to 70% humidity level in the fridge, providing an adequate amount of cool air to keep food fresh for up to 2 times longer. This way, families can say goodbye to unwanted preservatives and indulge in hearty meals as if they’ve come straight from the farm every day. It’s also designed to keep food odors from mixing. This means less food wastage, fewer trips to the grocery, and more quality time with loved ones! How awesome is that, right?

The smart appliance also has the Smart Conversion feature, which allows families to choose among 5 different freezer-fridge modes depending on their needs. Its Digital Inverter Technology ensures energy regulation and savings, as well as damage prevention from power surges. With this refrigerator, Filipino families get to eat and be healthy while saving up on resources.

During the event, the Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator kept delicious fruity treats fresh for participants to enjoy. Visitors to the Samsung booth were invited to vote which between the Guimaras Mango and Baguio Strawberry would stay fresh for a longer time, inside the Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator, for a chance to win their very own. In line with the modern homemaker’s preference for nutritious meals for the family, Kristine Lotilla, co-creator of Scout’s Honor and pastry chef at Le Petit Souffle and Freezer Burn, demonstrated how to make simple and healthy desserts using local produce stocked in the Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator. “The freshness of ingredients shows quality. So to make the best desserts, we always try to use the best quality ingredients,” says Chef Kristine.

Mango Strawberry Trifle

In our opinion, this was the best among all the three Samsung Freshness Feud desserts by Chef Kristine. Why? Because it both had mangoes and strawberries which means that it had great contrast of flavors and textures. The different layers of fruits and other ingredients just simply made us forget the extreme Sunday morning heat. Awesome job, Chef Kristine and Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator!

Following the September 10 event, the Samsung Freshness Feud will be brought to three other locations: Abenson Waltermart North EDSA, Addessa Baguio, and Royal Star Calamba. Event participants will get a chance to win their very own Samsung Twin Cooling Refrigerator by voting a contending fruit that will stay fresh for longer. After a 2-week testing period, those who voted for the winning fruit will be eligible for the raffle draw where three lucky winners will be chosen.
