Fowlbread – Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

Fried Chicken has always been one of our favorites! It’s one of the best comfort food ever, right? You can find it almost everywhere too. However, only some can be downright special. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you our Fowlbread EATSperience. Fowlbread is a small restaurant at the heart of BGC’s Bonifacio High Street. Fowlbread serves up buzz worthy Fried Chicken Sandwiches, Asian-inspired bites, and LOTS of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If none of those phrases excite you, there’s something wrong. We are excited to share our Fowlbread EATSperience to all of you. So, without further ado, here it goes!

Fowlbread belongs to the powerhouse Tasteless Group of restaurants. They are the group behind the successful dining concepts like Wrong Ramen, Hole in the Wall, Bad Bird, Liberation Shawarma and The Beef just to mention a few.

Fowlbread has indoor dining that can accommodate around 15 diners and outdoor dining for around 15 diners too. The place may be small but the food they serve will surely leave you wanting more.

Mr. Eats: Really beefy and cheesy. Coming from a big cheeseburger fan, this Asian interpretation of it surprisingly worked for me. Must try for the adventurous ones out there!

Mrs. Eats: Cheeseburger Potstickers? Talk about an innovative take on this one. Packed with beef and a generous amount of cheese. This is definitely a must try!

Mr. Eats: Super fragrant and filling! This bowl of Garlic Noodles might linger in your mouth for a couple of hours but believe me, IT’S WORTH IT! The Shrimp Potstickers was like a cherry on top of this AMAZING dish. Make sure you dip the potstickers in its special sauce for the complete EATSperience. Please please please try this one out! 😀

Mrs. Eats: Simplicity at its finest. If you are a fan of noodles without so much ingredients in it, this is for you. Simple yet big in flavor! And that Shrimp potstickers? Uhh-mazing!

Mr. Eats: This is the Mother of all Fried Chicken Sandwiches! Hands down to one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town. Fried to golden brown perfection, juicy 100% chicken slice and an out of this world chicken skin! Every single bite reminded me of how good life is. It was that GOOD! The spicy level was just right for me. Just a little kick the sandwich needed to spice things up a bit. When you dine at Fowlbread, go for the double right away. I promise you won’t regret it!

Mrs. Eats: Chicken sandwich is always on my list and when I learned that Fowlbread’s specialty is fried chicken sandwich, I did not hesitate to devour into it. The fried chicken was indeed juicy and crispy! And that added crunch from the crispy chicken skin?! Heavenly! Not to mention, the buns were good as well. So whenever I crave for a good chicken sandwich, I know where Mr.Eats should take me. 😀

Our friend Kirby ordered this and he said it was still manageable compared to the chemical spice level at Bad Bird. We were able to try the garlic fries before though and it was a WINNER!

After our second visit to Fowlbread, our tummies truly believe that their fried chicken sandwich deserves all the buzz and praise it is receiving. It may seem simple and ordinary at first but it tastes really special and one of a kind. The next time you pay a visit to Bonifacio Global City make sure you drop by Fowlbread and get yourself some Potstickers, Garlic Noodles and Double Fried Chicken Sandwich.
