It’s been a long time since we last published a post! Did any of you miss us or our blog posts? I hope so because we missed sharing our EATSperiences to you all! We’ve been quite busy with our personal lives being parents and at work that we had to take a little break from blogging and vlogging. Before we move on, we want to promote our YouTube Channel! Please do follow us, EATSplorations Family, for food and travel vlogs, thank you! Now, let’s go back to what this blog post is all about, our curry-licious EATSperience at one of the more recent curry restaurants in town, Camp Curry Philippines at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati! Camp Curry is home to a whole lot of Japanese curry dishes in a camping setting. Its first-ever location in the Philippines is very apt because it faces the “greenery” in the Ayala Triangle Gardens that’s somewhat perfect for “camping”. Keep on reading to find about what dishes we EATSperienced and loved at Camp Curry, let’s go!
Camp Curry Philippines at Ayala Triangle Gardens!
Camp Curry’s first branch in the Philippines stands proud and right in the middle of the Ayala Triangle Gardens. They also have a branch at Ayala Malls Feliz and an upcoming branch opening at Ayala Malls Bay Area. Two branches down and one more in the works, Camp Curry promises to be one of the hottest restaurants when it comes to Japanese Curry and Japanese food!
A view of Camp Curry’s main dining area! Anything interesting so far?
Look at that! Camp Curry’s interior is really all about camping. Can you spot some of the camping items in this photo?
A closer look at Camp Curry’s table setting! Yup, that’s a water container for camping and you get to pour your own cold water out of it. Fun, right?!
Before we show you the food, here’s a look at probably one of the most important stations in their open kitchen, the grill! Beautifully grilled meat and seafood every single time cooked by one of their “masters”.
Ready to go on a little Camp Curry food trip with us? Let’s eat!
Gyoza Cheese (Php 199 / 7pcs)
Sizzling hot skillet gyoza with molten cheese, what more can we ask for?! We loved the crispy charred dumpling and extremely meaty and juicy filling. The cheese provided a great richness in every bite. 210 pesos for 7 pieces? Man, that’s one value for money appetizer!
BBQ Prawns and Mashed Potatoes (Php 330)
Perfectly grilled prawns doused with Camp Curry’s secret bbq sauce and uber creamy and chunky mashed potatoes on the side. We love anything prawns and this one was amazing! It definitely exceeded our expectations. Well done, Camp Curry!
BBQ Pork Belly & Chunky Vegetables with Rice (Php 330)
Nothing beats a perfectly grilled pork belly, right?! However, at Camp Curry pork belly is made more special because of their awesome Original Curry on top of it! Just look at that sexy photo for a moment and appreciate how good life is with a thick slice of pork belly and a waterfall of tasty curry. Awesome, right?! We loved this plate of curry so much! Really flavorful, creamy, lovely sweet and savory flavors that are perfect with the pork belly and a lot of rice!
Just before we pour the curry sauce onto the katsu, the little one already took a bite, hehe!
Curry Katsu (Php 320)
It’s tonkatsu but with really good curry, Cheese Curry to be more specific. This is one amazing plate of comfort food, thanks to Camp Curry’s delicious Cheese Curry! If you want something for your child, order this one. Curry sauce is always on the side which is perfect for non-curry eating children.
Let us correct the words from the poster above. The best days are spent camping at Camp Curry! We had a great time at Camp Curry. The food was more than what we expected and the prices of the dishes fit our budget, too. We are looking forward to dining at their Ayala Malls Bay Area branch because it’s much closer to where we stay and we can’t wait to try out their other curry flavors and dishes. Just in case you want to check out Camp Curry, make sure to ask for whatever promos they have so that you can enjoy your EATSperience more! That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations and we look forward to sharing more of our recent EATSperiences to you all!
