Keep on reading to find out more about PizzaExpress Mega Fashion Hall!
PizzaExpress Philippines at the Mega Fashion Hall!
Located at the more posh part of SM Megamall, PizzaExpress at Mega Fashion Hall is the third PizzaExpress branch to open here in the Philippines. It is expected to be one of the go-to pizza and pasta destinations in one of the largest malls in town. If you haven’t tried it yet, this branch might be the branch that’s close to where you work or stay. The time to try it out is NOW.
We dropped by during their exclusive preview and the place was, as expected, really packed! An extra-long table was set up to accommodate all the guests and they served a great lineup of dishes for everyone to try. We were most excited for their dough balls and Romana pizza!
Yup, PizzaExpress has been around for quite some time now and if you want to have good times, make sure to try out their great pizza with your friends and family!
Menu for the night! Baked Dough Balls and Truffled Parmesan and Mushroom Dip, woohoo!!! ROMANA PIZZA and four kinds of it, oh yes!!! So much food and so little tummy space, hehe.
The kitchen crew was so busy that night! They were dishing out one tasty pizza after another. All kinds of pasta were flying out of the pans, too! Not to mention, the place smelled so good because of all the action, thanks to PizzaExpress’ open kitchen. Yum, yum!
Truffled Parmesan and Mushroom Dip (Php 285)
Crispy and fluffy dough balls with a rich, cheesy, stringy, and fragrant dip. Nothing but yumminess on a plate! It may be a bit pricey for an appetizer but it’s worth it. Really delicious and perfect for sharing, too!
Liguria (Php 490)
It’s all about seafood on this PizzaExpress special! Clams, Squid, Prawns, Mussels, and so on with Bechamel Sauce. The sweetness and freshness of the sea in one amazing pizza Romana. Make sure to squeeze some lemon onto the pizza to cut the richness of the bechamel and all the seafood. Seafood-lovers, this one is for you!
Campana (Php 510)
Pork and Fennel Sausage Crumbles, Kale, Mozzarella, Grana Padano, and Oregano on their signature tomato sauce and Romana pizza. Lots of things going on in this pizza but the ones that stood out were the pork and fennel sausage crumbles and the cheeses! Every bite was filled with so much flavor and aroma! This might be PizzaExpress’ best pizza.
Le Rose (Php 520)
Pancetta, Chicken, and Calabrese Sausage with Prosciutto and Basil. This pizza was super savory! We enjoyed the generous slices of both the Pancetta and the Prosciutto. It gave Le Rose that awesome knockout punch! Totally worth the 520 pesos you will be paying for. Must try pizza right here!
Spaghetti Carbonara (Php 355)
A famous Roman pasta recipe made with Egg, Parmesan, and Pancetta. As you can see, this pasta is rich and creamy. However, it’s not that heavy. Overall, it was done right. It was pretty tasty and we loved it!
After all the eating, PizzaExpress prepared something special for all its guests… Pizza-making with the help of their in-house pizzaiolo! Of course, the girls of EATSplorations joined and they had so much fun making their own pizza. Just look at the photo above for reference, hehe!
Our little girl EATSperienced making her own pizza from stretching the dough to putting the toppings and she loved every minute of it! Thank you so much, PizzaExpress!
The finished product! Pizza ala Beanie, hehe. Congratulations on the opening of your third branch, PizzaExpress! We, obviously, had an amazing time at the preview. Well, because of the sheer number of tasty pizza and pasta that was served, who wouldn’t?! If you haven’t gotten a chance to visit any of the first two PizzaExpress branches, now is the best time! Drop by their Mega Fashion Hall branch and try out their awesome lineup of freshly made pizza and pasta. You will never regret it!
