Milk tea here, milk tea there, milk tea everywhere! The hype is back and the milk tea craze is real! May it be in malls or a stand-alone, there probably is a milk tea place near you. And we do admit, we too are milk tea fanatics! During the summer season, milk tea was our go-to refreshment to beat the heat. And we have stumbled upon one of the newest milk tea places here in the Metro. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about the Freshly Brewed Tea at Presotea in SM North Annex. Freshly Brewed Tea at Presotea – SM North Annex!
Presotea is located on the second floor of The Annex in SM City North Edsa.
Presotea has a small space that can probably seat around 10-12 persons. The tables are convenient for those who are not on the go and would like to sit and sip their drink while chatting.
Presotea is a chain from Taiwan and has made and continues its way internationally. A group of friends who were in Taiwan for leisure discovered this and decided to bring it to the Philippines. And now, they already have a couple of branches here in Metro Manila. Presotea boasts of their freshly brewed tea once you order.
Presotea has a variety of drinks to choose from. And the ones with the 2-leaf icon are their best sellers. So when we were deciding, we looked into trying some of their best sellers.
Since it has a cafe feels, they do not just serve drinks, they also have different cakes and pastries.
Shall we know share with you what we ordered? We got 3 different drinks. Brown sugar latte for Baby Eats. Japanese milk tea macchiato with red bean for Mrs. Eats. And signature fruit tea fusion for Mr. Eats.
Brown Sugar Latte (Php 110 medium / Php 120 large)
After shaking, stirring and sipping, Baby Eats quickly blurted out “Mom this is good!”. Yup, the smile says it all, doesn’t it?
Japanese Milk Tea Macchiato with Red Bean (Php 140 medium / Php 150 large)
Recommended by the owner herself so this was a must-try for us. Verdict? Mrs. Eats, loved it! Creamy milk and strong tea flavor, with red bean as the natural sweetener for the whole drink. Something unique and different from the usual milk tea. Definitely a must-try!
Signature Fruit Tea Fusion (Php 130 medium / Php 150 large)
And for Mr. Eats, the signature fruit tea fusion. He loved the blend of flavors in this drink and how refreshing it was. It was not too sweet for his own taste too.
All in all, it was a sweet and refreshing EATSperience for us at Presotea. Every once in a while it feels good to try something new apart from the usuals.
