Brezza Italian Restaurant – Movenpick Boracay

Want to witness how the make their pizza at Brezza? Make sure to reserve the spot right in front of “The Beast” to see its magic first-hand. This spot will also allow you to eat your pizza right away. Fresh pizza at its finest!

The Beast!

Pizza in a minute or even less! Only with The Beast and Brezza’s very own, Chef Francesco.

Enjoy the view of Punta Bunga Cove while you eat Brezza’s authentic Italian dishes right at this very spot!

If you choose to hide from the sun and eat indoors, Brezza also has an air-conditioned space that can fit around 15-20 people. It’s perfect for big groups of hungry diners!

The man behind Brezza, Chef Francesco Leone. I had so much fun watching him create their bestseller, the Quattro Formaggi. He was really generous with the toppings which my friends and I really loved. The pizza was overflowing with so much cheese and love, thanks to Chef Francesco!

Spaghetti, Risotto, and Pizza at Brezza!

Spaghetti Carbonara
Php 450

Brezza’s Spaghetti Carbonara is one to remember! I have always been a tomato sauce kind of guy but I might have just had a change of heart, thanks to this delicious carbonara. It was my first time have it with ‘guanciale’ (cured pork cheek), and I kind of prefer it more because of its bolder flavor and great fat content. This one’s definitely a must-try!

Mushroom Risotto (off the menu)

This one was so hard to take a photo of but it was probably the most delicious risotto I have ever had. It was creamy and earthy without being heavy. I enjoyed the richness of flavors in every bite. I have to agree with my friend (PepeSamson.com) that although it wasn’t that photogenic/instagenic, it was still pretty irresistible.

Quattro Formaggi
Php 575

See what I was talking about earlier?! Chef Francesco did not skimp on the toppings and made one extremely cheesy pizza. It was so cheesy that it started falling apart right when we take our slice. Just to be clear, it’s a wonderful thing for all of us cheese-lovers and I am not complaining. It was cooked with so much love and I was able to taste it! Thank you so much, Chef Francesco!

Aside from the three fantastic dishes that I featured in this post, I would like to suggest a couple more dishes to try like the classic Spaghetti alla Bolognese (kid-friendly pasta) and the Risotto di Mare (fresh flavors of the sea). Take my word for it, you will surely enjoy it! All the dishes that I tried were good for sharing and perfect for big groups. Bring a lot of back up so that you can try more of Chef Francesco’s authentic Italian creations. Lastly, make sure to dine at Brezza during lunchtime or even before the sun sets so that you can enjoy a great view of the resort and the beach while having a great Italian feast. That’s it for this special edition of one of Movenpick Boracay’s three restaurants, Brezza! Stay tuned as I will share about their Asian restaurant in my next post, ’till next time!
