The Mall of Asia Complex has been around now from more than a decade and it has become a shopping and dining mecca for people in and around Metro Manila. This past September, the already loaded Mall of Asia Complex has become even more exciting because of the opening of the Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club, just a few steps away from Manila Bay. This new wellness and lifestyle club is owned and managed by the Vikings Group. It’s the group’s first-ever venture outside their successful lineup of luxury buffet restaurants. I, Mr. Eats, was really excited to try it because I have never experienced anything like it before. However, in this edition of FITSplorations, Mrs. Eats wasn’t with me because she needed to take care of our baby first. Good thing I was joined by fellow foodie friends to take on this day of wellness at Manila’s NEWEST lifestyle hub, Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club.
Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club
The thing that impressed me about Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club was how classy it looked from every angle. It looked pretty inviting from the outside and it looked even better on the inside up to the infinity pool area. The owners certainly did a great job in conceptualizing this one of a kind lifestyle hub in the city. Everything just looks so promising. Want to find out if the services are as good as how it looks? Join me as I go around Marina Bay Spa and experience one of their massage treatments and several amenities.
Want to relax first? Check these rooms out!

Heading to the Cabin Area for a massage!
A short calming corridor right after the main lobby leads you to men’s or women’s area. Each area has its own hot and cold bath spa, sauna, steam room, shower area, and treatment rooms. If you want to spend time as a couple, you may go to the relaxation room or experience their foot and hand delight treatments.
I love getting massages, as it helps me destress and it gives myself some quiet time, to regain physical and mental strength. During this wellness time, I tried out the Marina Bay Signature Massage. It was that kind of massage that started out with the pressure points then followed by strokes that were really calming. I was snoring in no time, thanks to my awesome therapist. This massage is priced at Php 1,500 for 60 minutes.
They have a lot of services to choose from. Spa packages that ranges from Php 2,000-3,000. Massage remedies that ranges from Php 1,500-2,488. Body treatments that are mostly scrubs, priced at Php 1,750-2,450. And facial treatments priced at Php 2,200-2,488. They also offer Foot reflexology priced at Php 1,300-1,400. And if you are not satisfied with one treatment and you want to have add-ons they also have a variety to choose from, priced at Php280-900.
Drink, Eat, Sing, and Play!
When you are done with your massage treatments, try going up to the second level and play billiards with your friends. You may also order some drinks from the bar or sing karaoke with them. If you are already a “tito” like me, they also have a mahjong room. Whatever you are looking for, Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club literally has it all.
Chill out, swim, and enjoy the view!
The infinity pool area of Marina Bay Spa is such a delight to see. It felt like my friends and I weren’t in the city at all. The view of the scenic Manila Bay is also pretty calming. I can just imagine how amazing the view here will be during sunset.
Workout at their Fitness Gym and Wellness Studio!
If you know how to workout on your own, Marina Bay Spa’s fitness gym has the basic exercise machines and dumbells at your disposal. You may also join their classes at the wellness studio. They have regular classes both in the morning and in the evening, everyday.
I definitely had a great time FITSploring Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle club. It was on a Sunday and it set me to have the energy to go through the work week. I can’t wait to experience Marina Bay Spa again and I will make sure that Mrs. Eats will be there to experience it, too. This new luxury addition to the Mall of Asia Complex will surely be a destination to those who are keeping a healthy lifestyle and are into wellness. If you want to become a member of this amazing lifestyle club, they are offering membership packages from Php 60,000 to 270,000 (members are free to access the following facilities anytime: Relaxing Area, Mini Theatre, Heater Floor, Cold and Hot Bath, Sauna and Steam Room, Gym, Fitness Studio, and Infinity Pool). That’s it for this edition of FITSplorations. ‘Till next time!
