We got one crunchy appetizer, two kinds of lasagna and two kinds of fried chicken from House of Lasagna’s “Fried Chicken Festival.” It may seem heaps of food but for a couple as hungry as we were, it’s just another day at the office. Southern Fried Chicken Skin

Mr. Eats: Yes, yes and yes! I will never ever say no to a plate of crispy fried chicken skin simply because I love it. House of Lasagna just made me a bigger fan of the sinful, fried chicken skin. Super crispy and not a tad oily which means that House of Lasagna really knows how to fry. Believe me, you really have to have this to start your EATSperience here on the right note.

Mrs. Eats: Mr.Eats and I don’t just love food, we also share the same favorites. Fried Chicken will always be on our list and crispy fried chicken skin? No doubt about it!  It was seasoned well and the vinegar dip made each bite really mouthwatering. The chicken skin were crisp to perfection and it was not oily which was a plus for me. I had to remind myself that I needed to share this with my husband. I will definitely come back for this simple yet enticing appetizer.

Beef Lasagna

Mr. Eats: Nothing beats the classic Beef Lasagna! Cheesy, creamy and meaty. I could still taste how awesome this House of Lasagna bestseller is. A perfect pick for a first visit!

Mrs. Eats: Their single serving is good enough to feed two hungry tummies. It had a generous amount of beefy goodness and every bite was really feeling.

Three Cheese Lasagna

Mr. Eats: Mozzarella, cheddar and blue cheese in one lasagna dish. This is as cheesy as it gets! House of Lasagna just made me love lasagna more because of this beautiful plate of cheesy goodness. Every bite was simply heavenly!

Mrs. Eats: Among the two lasagnas that we tried, this was my favorite. For all the cheese-lovers like me, this is a must-try! It was baked to perfection that when I sliced through it the cheese was oozing. Another food added to my favorites.

Garlic Parmesan Fried Chicken

Mr. Eats: I love fried chicken and I didn’t believe how good this one was until my 3rd bite. I had to keep munching because I couldn’t believe what I just EATSperienced. Beautifully cooked and great-tasting fried chicken in a restaurant that’s known for lasagna? Yes, it exists! Crispy, juicy and really fragrant because of the garlic and parmesan. A must-try!

Mrs. Eats: One thing that I look for in a good fried chicken is when the breading is not too thick. That’s one thing that I liked about House of Lasagna’s fried chicken. It was lightly breaded and the chicken was juicy and fried perfectly. The garlic parmesan flavor is good to pair with coleslaw.

Salted Egg Fried Chicken

Mr. Eats: House of Lasagna has finally given in to the salted egg food trend and they did it good. They were able to cook up a really tasty version of the fried chicken with salted egg. I loved the richness of the salted egg sauce without being too heavy. It was a great complement to the already superb fried chicken of House of Lasagna. Well done!

Mrs. Eats: This was my favorite! I had a hard time stopping myself from devouring this amazing flavor of fried chicken. The salted egg sauce was light in flavor yet it was very tasty. It was really good with rice. Something to come back for!
