Good restaurants or cafes are not necessarily the ones that we find in malls or establishments. There are some that are hidden in residential places or probably just around the neighborhood. In one of our recent EATSperience, we discovered a great find in a commercial establishment called Flossom Place and it’s really close to our workplace. Flossom Place is like a one-stop shop for those residing in and around San Juan City. It’s home to a number of establishments that offer different products and services. Welcome to Flossom Kitchen Cafe!
Flossom Place is the brain child of friends putting up a complex that features individual interests. Located at San Juan City, Flossom Place has a cafe, a salon, a boutique, a showroom for event styling and an upcoming Orchid flower haven. It is actually a one-stop place if you are in the mood for some pampering and good food. Flossom Kitchen + Cafe sits right in front of the complex which can be easily seen. Perfect with the peaceful and quiet neighborhood, this cafe has glass walls that welcomes the natural light. The pretty and chic interior with bright colors gives diners a chill and relaxing ambiance.

Flossom Kitchen + Cafe has an array of dishes from breakfast food, pizza and pasta, mains, sandwiches and burgers, and desserts. A budget of approximately Php 1,000 for 2 will be able to satisfy one’s craving.
This one is truly the ultimate breakfast platter! Bacon, egg, ham, tomatoes, wedges, pork and beans, and wild mushrooms all in one HUGE platter of breakfast favorites. Dreams really do come true, thanks to Flossom Kitchen Cafe’s behemoth breakfast platter!
Champorado just got an upgrade, thanks to this colorful breakfast bowl at Flossom! The ube rice stew is topped with salted fish flakes, macapuno, and yema sauce. Sweet and a little savory in every spoonful. Perfection.
Served with blue cheese dip, celery and carrot sticks, this spicy buffalo chicken tenders has that kick made subtle by the dip. We loved that it was not too hot for our own taste.
Croissant has always been one of our favorite breads. Warm, flaky and soft croissant topped with truffle bits, egg salad, fish roe and bacon. Perfect with a cup of coffee for breakfast or for snack.
Mac and Cheese in a spicy buffalo flavor? It surprisingly worked for us! Creamy, spicy cheese sauce with blue cheese drizzle and buffalo chicken. A good balance of spicy and savory flavors.
One of our favorites in this EATSperience! Silky, smooth risotto cooked in chicken broth with earthy flavors from the different kinds of mushroom and an aromatic scent from the truffle. The crisp and flaky salmon added taste to the already flavorful risotto.
Flossom’s version of homemade embutido topped with cream sauce and mozzarella cheese. Juicy meatloaf made creamier by the sauce and cheese. We would love to have this again for lunch or dinner.
Another rice dish that can fill-up a hungry tummy. Marinated chicken thigh served with side salad, refreshing Pico de Gallo and Onion cream. The spices used to marinade the chicken worked well with the onion cream.
We also had a taste of some of their best-selling pizzas and pastas. Spicy Shrimp Pasta and Honey Chorizo Pasta, both priced at Php 320. Jamon Serrano and Arugula Pizza and Chori Shrimp Pizza , both priced at Php 550. We loved the idea that they can use same main ingredients for both pizza and pasta but with a twist in flavor. And since we love shrimps, we really enjoyed having the Spicy Shrimp Pasta and Chori Shrimp Pizza.
Flossom Kitchen + Cafe is not just about breakfast food and other savory dishes. But they also have a selection of sweets to cap off a good meal. The Carrot cake was our favorite, the cake itself was great but the frosting was amazing! The Cookie Dough Skillet (Php 220) was Baby Eats’ favorite, she had at least 2 spoonfuls of it. Chewy and gooey chocolate chip cookie served warm! And Tiramisu (Php 150) being one of their best-sellers, did not disappoint as well.

We highly recommend their Ultimate English Breakfast for heavy breakfast eaters. The Truffle and Egg sandwich for snacks. Their Spicy Shrimp pasta and Chori Shrimp pizza. And for food with a Filipino touch, their Ube Champorado is a must-try!
