Now let’s dig into our  Teppanyaki EATSperience! We stayed at one of their private teppan rooms with an overlooking view of Roxas Boulevard and Manila bay. While enjoying the view, we were served with a variety of starters. Tuna and salmon sashimi, California maki and tamago sushi rolls, Gindara with teriyaki sauce and Kani salad. We loved that we started our teppanyaki meal with these fresh and tasty starters.

They have a bountiful selection in their teppanyaki menu where diners get to choose what food they like to eat at an all-you-can EATSperience. The Teppanyaki all-you-can is priced at Php 2,800 nett from Monday-Thursday, and Php 2,980 nett from Friday-Sunday and holidays.

Time to fire up the Teppanyaki grill with Yurakuen’s well-seasoned and tasty assorted vegetables. The vegetables still had that freshness and crisp texture.

Followed by some assorted seafood platter that includes US scallops, Tiger shrimps, Squid and Salmon. Seasoned with just salt and pepper, the natural flavor of the seafood were present in every bite. The squid was tender yet the texture was still firm. The tiger shrimps were naturally sweet and juicy. The salmon was smooth and flaky, and our favorite was the plump and juicy US scallops.

While eating the last piece of seafood, these slices of US beef tenderloin made its way to the teppan grill. Grilled and cooked to our own preference, the US beef tenderloin were perfectly cooked on the outside and the center remained pink and juicy. Topped with some crispy garlic slices, our craving for good quality beef was satisfied!

As we savored the US beef tenderloin, these US beef short ribs fired up the grill again. The aroma of the beef being cooked made us feel like we were in beef heaven. Juicy, savory and tender slices of beef gave us a melt-in-your-mouth EATSperience.

For some carbo loading, we had 2 different types of fried rice. The seafood fried rice cooked with lots of pepper and the chestnut fried rice that had a sweeter flavor, perfect for this holiday season.

What’s a meal without dessert? To complete our EATSperience, we had Yurakuen’s matcha and baked cheesecake ice cream. Both were equally good and were really creamy. We were happy and our tummies were extremely happy as well. And our first time at Yuruaken is something that we would always remember if we want to have an all-you-can-eat Teppanyaki that has food of good quality and good service from the staff. We will definitely dine here again and have another EATSperience worth sharing. TIP: Make sure to call Diamond Hotel’s restaurant reservation first so you and your loved ones can get a table. It’s very limited. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations, ’till next time!

  1. Yurakuen is loooove! Everything is just fantastic. My partner and I love to mix their matcha ice cream with the red beans for dessert… it’s so good. Must go back there soon.
