We always see Instagram and Facebook posts of friends about Bistro United and we’ve heard good things about this restaurant as well. Having the word Bistro in mind, it gives us a notion that this place has a cozy and relaxing vibe. Staying true to its name, we indeed spent a relaxing Sunday at Bistro United. Finally we were able to try their mouthwatering dishes that was in their weekend buffet. Not just that, we were also able to have Baby Eats try her first cake smash experience. Fun and food combined for the EATSplorations family. Join us as we share with you our Weekend Feast at Bistro United-Kapitolyo, Pasig EATSperience.
Bistro United at Kapitolyo, Pasig
Bistro United is located at Kapitolyo in Pasig City. It is just across Pioneer Center Supermarket and it is not that hard to look for. It lives up to its name-Bistro, as it gives diners a cozy family-friendly ambiance wherein you can just enjoy, talk and have a good time while having good food. Compared to other restaurants and cafes in Kapitolyo, Bistro United has enough parking slots right in front of the restaurant.
Bistro United’s Weekend Feast!
Upon entering, the buffet spread was what welcomed us. As mentioned, they do have a weekend buffet priced at P375++. The buffet includes 1 kind of soup, 3 kinds of starters, 5 mains (pasta, vegetables, chicken, fish and beef), and 3 kinds of dessert. The specialty in their spread is the roast beef. With the quality of the food and the ingredients used, the price point is reasonable and worth it.
Our favorites for the starters were the grilled eggplant parcel and the carrot soup with organic black rice. The natural sweetness of the eggplant was prominent in every bite and the char-grilled flavor was present too. The carrot soup was sweet and creamy which our baby really enjoyed as well.
Of course the roast beef is a must try! Tender and juicy slices of beef, roasted perfectly. And for a complete EATSperience, a choice of the peppered gravy or the au jus gravy will seal the deal. We also loved the Moroccan couscous with roasted vegetables and the pesto pasta. Both had flavors that were on point.
All three desserts were not overly sweet which we really loved. And our favorite was the mini carrot cupcakes. From the delectable cream cheese frosting to the moist cupcake, we kept popping these tiny cupcakes in our mouths.
Bistro United’s NEW offerings!
Aside from Bistro United being a stand-alone restaurant, they can also provide catering services in any occasion, that’s why they recently launched cake smash party package, perfect for your little one’s birthday celebration. Or if you have a friend or a relative looking for a party package for their kid, Bistro United has it for you. Aside from their savory treats, their churro bar will surely sweeten up the party.
We indeed had a bountiful weekend feast at Bistro United. Our Sunday family bonding was made special with the flavorful dishes and the cake smash experience of Baby Eats. We will surely be back to try out their ala carte menu because we heard it’s also packed with lovely and tasty Modern Filipino dishes. Before we forget, props to Chef Mia and her staff for serving up some of the tastiest food Kapitolyo has to offer. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations. Until next time!
